The course is organized into three blocks.
The first block covers the fundamentals of global health, addressing its development as a field of study, research, and practice; global health governance and the role of International Organizations; and the global health agenda with focus on universal health coverage.
The second block explores strategies to comprehend problems and challenges faced by global health, addressing the state of global health and its determinants, focusing on the patterns and trends of the global burden of disease, emergencies, and socio-economic determinates of health.
The third block covers interventions in Global Health Systems, using theory and methods to design, implement and evaluate policies to address global health problems and technical and political aspects to managing resources for Health Systems.
