Geithner discussed the global financial crisis in a lecture that was streamed to Global Network schools.

Timothy Geithner, the former U.S. Treasury Secretary, discussed the origins of the 2008-09 global financial crisis in a talk at the Yale School of Management on October 1. Students at the Global Network schools INCAE, FGV, EGADE, and PUC participated via videoconference.

Geithner, who helped to shape the country’s policy responses to the crisis, spoke in the first of a series of three lectures, part of a class titled Global Financial Crisis; he will return for additional lectures on November 19 and December 3.
