EGADE Business School Santa Fe will host the fourth edition of Global Network Week October 13-17. This is a week-long intensive exchange program that is taught simultaneously at the international business schools who are members of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), the network of global business schools of which EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey is a founding member.
On this occasion, 26 students of EGADE Business School will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in courses dedicated to key topics for the regions represented by GNAM in international business schools, among which are the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile School of Business (Chile); the Asian Institute of Management (The Philippines); Fudan University School of Management (China); IE Business School (Spain); UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School (Ireland), Koç University Graduate School of Business (Turkey) and Yale School of Management (USA). 10 students from EGADE Business School will participate in Global Network Week at EGADE Business School Santa Fe together with about ten international MBA students from the Yale School of Management and the School of Management at Fudan University.
Global Network Week, which is celebrated every year in March and October since 2013, is a central initiative for students in the MBA programs of the business schools who are members of GNAM. The course takes advantage of the different academic focuses, programs and the expert knowledge of the faculties of each one of the participating business schools in order to provide students with a unique experience of immersion and interaction with international students and professors. Together with their network peers, the students attend classes, visit important companies in the region and meet with experts to learn about current trends in the businesses on which each course focuses.
The purpose of this academic exchange program is to promote a global business perspective by exposing the students who are executives to the business environment of different regions of the planet, the culture and local business practices and the design of business strategies that are appropriate for the different markets and economies, while maintaining a global approach. Besides being a required course in the curriculum, Global Network Week is an opportunity to promote their professional networks with international contacts from the principal business schools in the world.
