Recommendations for your school to help the Global Network promote and cover Global Network Week:
Quotes
Gather quotes from students that show their experience as it happens, professors on their thoughts on Global Network Week or perhaps a quote from a company leader given during one of their talks. Perhaps there is an interesting example from a company visit, or a particular talk with a professor. The quotes should reflect the value of the experience. Examples:
“Global Network Week is a program that is immersive in approach and essential to our core mission of fostering a truly global perspective. The schools involved cover the world and their collective influence and intelligence is very valuable. The program is an important component to building a management career.” – Fred Terrell, vice chairman for investment banking at Credit Suisse.
“This is a great opportunity to meet people from all around the world and stay connected with their cultures, their skills, and their points of view. I think in today’s global market, cultural intelligence isn’t a ‘nice to have’ but it’s a ‘must have.’” – Catia Neto de Sousa, MBA 2014, IE Business School.
Video
Videos can reflect the entire experience of Global Network Week, be short interviews with students on their experience or capture specific moments that highlight a particular offering. An example from Koç University:
School News stories & blogs
Short stories and blog posts can capture moments during the week. These can be written by a member of your communications team or even a student or professor who was involved in the week. Increasingly, we would like to see these stories appear on the website during the week instead of a week or two later. Example: http://som.yale.edu/whitney-avenue-wall-street
