This course explores transformational leadership by examining its principles and practices through the lens of African cultural values, leadership traditions, and contemporary challenges. Students will understand how transformational leadership can be effectively applied in Africa’s diverse socio-economic and political contexts. This course offers a unique perspective on leadership that emphasises community, social change, and sustainable development. Students will not only learn about transformational leadership theory but also engage deeply with African perspectives, challenges, and practices, providing a more holistic approach to leadership in the African context.
