We believe that many incumbent companies are still lagging in their ability to fully transform their businesses and avail of the multiple digital technologies which are now pervasive in our lives.  The challenger and tech-based companies are clearly moving at rapid pace to create and capture new value, while incumbents are continuing to be trapped in traditional business models and linear ecosystems.

 

How we break through these traps is much more than a technology problem - it is as much about strategy, culture and perhaps most of all leadership. As our students get ready to re-enter the world of work, our programme is designed to explore and discuss the critical strategic and leadership challenges of digital transformation. As a leading global business school based in Dublin, GNAM students will access some of the key relationships in the digital transformation ecosystem. Our programme meets with traditional industry incumbents who are undertaking change programmes as well as new start -up challengers.  

 

Dublin is also the European base of the leading technology operators and we will have a chance to go behind the closed doors (albeit virtually) of a number of these companies to understand their own approach to new world and new markets and explore how they partner with businesses to help drive digital transformation.

 

The Programme will be lead and managed by JP Donnelly, who is Country Manager in WPP. JP is also Chairman of Prominate Global, and a new emerging Health & Beauty Brand Spotlight Oral Care. As well as a passion for Digital Transformation, JP also teaches Corporate Reputation and Retail Innovation.
