Watch a Live Global Network Event: Global Environmental Change in the 21st Century

September 24, 2014

Global Network students are invited to view a live recording of a talk by Alexander Verbeek, Strategic Policy Advisor on Global Issues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands, at Yale SOM on Thursday, September 25, 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. EDT.

Climate change and related stresses on water and food production are high on the list of concerns of CEOs, both in likelihood and in potential impact. What are these risks and what would your response be as a manager?

Alexander Verbeek, a Strategic Policy Advisor on Global Issues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands and a 2014 Yale World Fellow, will join us for this 80-minute session. Mr. Verbeek will present insights on the dynamics of global climate change, water stress and food from his diplomatic perception. We will then have a moderated discussion of corporate financial and moral responsibilities in the face of these challenges.

Global Network students are invited to watch the event. Join the conversation.
